I forgot to take a picture, but you fold down the second side to the opposite side. Same thing, other side. Got it?
I used fabric this time. I cut it with my cricut! I used one of the shapes from Accent Essentials. Worked like a charm.
You just hot glue the fabric covered brad into the center of the flower.
Then you flip the flower over, take a small piece of felt cut two strips in it, open your barrette and push the bigger side into the strips. Hot glue the clip in place. Close the clip and move the petals to cover the clip.
I choose coordinating papers. Used my i-rock to adhere the i-pearls and i-bling (not sure what those are really called, but they are all up in the craft room and I am blogging from my bed... so LAZY comes to mind.)
I cut out a square, then cut off the corners so it stays hidden under the flower. I cut out two slits in the paper so the clip just slides into it. This holds the flower in place but also allows the recipient to remove it and put it in their hair.
I picture of the bling. That is ribbon they are on.
I am entering this into the cricut circle blog magazine challenge. Wish me luck! :)
Love the hair clip. Great way to showcase it.
